Dr. Brian W. Rich - Building Principal

Dr. Brian W. Rich is excited to serve as the new Principal of Hollenbeck Middle School. He brings experience to the role having previously served as the Principal of Ritenour Middle for the past 7 years.  Dr. Rich also held administrative roles in Ritenour as the Assistant Principal at Ritenour Middle and as the Director of the Re-Entry Center, an alternative education program serving Ritenour and Pattonville students.  Prior to his 14 years in the Ritenour School District, he worked as an Interim Assistant Principal, Social Studies Teacher and Football & Basketball Coach during a 9 year tenure at University City High School.  Dr. Rich earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master’s Degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Doctoral Degree from Maryville University.  Dr. Rich and his wife Liz, a teacher in the Lindbergh School District, love spending time with family, friends and their three sons James (14), Henry (11) and Patrick (8).

Dan Harmon - Assistant Principal

Dan Harmon is the Assistant Principal at Hollenbeck Middle School. Dan joined the Hollenbeck team as Administrative Intern in 2019, and shifted to the Assistant Principal position for the 2022-2023 school year. Prior to Hollenbeck, Dr. Harmon taught for seven years in the Maplewood Richmond Heights school district. Dr. Harmon received his Masters and Doctorate of Educational Leadership degrees from Maryville University. Dr. Harmon and his family are avid supporters of the FHSD community, with three children attending school in the District.

Elisabeth Baird - Assistant Principal

Elisabeth Baird is the Assistant Principal at Hollenbeck Middle School in the Francis Howell School District. Mrs. Baird has been teaching in the Francis Howell School district since 2008 as a vocal music director at Hollenbeck Middle School, Saeger Middle School and Francis Howell Central High School. She currently holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music Education from University of Missouri-St. Louis and her Educational Specialist Degree with Secondary Administration certification also from UMSL. She and her incredibly supportive husband, Eddie, and daughter, Eva, currently live in O’Fallon, Missouri.
