Learning Commons

Looking back on the 2020-2021 school year...

As the year draws to a close and summer is on our minds, I hope reading has and will continue to give students place to go, no matter where they are.   There have been a few challenges this year--quarantining books and less interactions amongst each other--but many have found their reading niches.  Manga titles have been the "it" books this year as  I continue to expand our collection finding age-appropriate ones.  I already have many new books of multiple genres I am excited to put out next year.

One thing I hope many will take advantage of this summer is visiting the county library.  Remember, with the school district partnership, students may use their Francis Howell ID number to check out books, both in-person and online.  See the Summer Reading tab for a directions link.
