Lots has been happening in the learning commons!  Makerspace activities began during Hawk Hours, and we had an author visit, current St. Louis resident, Antony John.  Students are completing monthly challenges, and they completed a mosaic sticker poster.  Check out these pictures!

Congratulations to the winning house for 1st semester--GRYFFINDOR!

The Learning Commons has a theme this year if you haven't heard or seen--Harry Potter!  Many activities, bulletin boards, decorations, contests will center around this theme.  If you haven't read the series, this is a GREAT time to start them in honor of the 20th anniversary of the release of the first book (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone) in the United States.

Students have been "sorted" into houses by their ELA class and are competing all year long to be the winning house.  They can earn points by doing what they are supposed to be doing in the learning commons as well as participating in monthly challenges.
